It is the story of a boy whose name was Naiee. He lived with his elder brother Naia and his father. His father was struggling with a chronic disease. In these difficult days, one day Naiee was sadly standing at the tombstone of his dead mother, remembering her who drowned at sea while he was unable to save her.
His elder brother, Naia, calls him to help their ill father reach the village's doctor. They both put their father in a hand carriage to take him to the doctor. Naiee was young and unexperienced. His elder brother Naia takes the lead in difficult tasks. They finally reach to the doctor’s home who tells them that the only way to save their father is a rare water. He told boys that that magical water can be found far away from the Tree of Life. He handed them a map that can lead them to the tree of life.
The brothers embark on their journey through the village. They found a river to cross in the way. Naiee didn’t know how to swim and was afraid. Naia convinces him that they can cross it if he holds his back. In this way they successfully crossed the river and continued their journey. In the village they found a farmer’s dog and a naughty boy who closed the gate in their way. Brothers tricked the boy and opened the aggressive dog who followed the boy and the brothers made their way to next destination.
Later they found a bridge that was closed. Bridge guard was sleeping beside it. Naiee splashes water on his face to awake him when Naia couldn’t awake him. The man opens bridge for them. They again face an aggressive dog in the fields and successfully cross it by dodging the dog. They found another closed bridge and open it by placing a sheep in a wheel like structure.
Then they reached a troll’s home. The found that the troll was crying in agony. During conversation with the troll, they found that his wife was abducted by hulks. They promised to help the troll in getting his wife back. The troll leads them to the place where hulks live.
The troll leaves them behind a small cave he couldn’t cross. The brothers continued their journey in the hulk’s underground home which was full of puzzles. They finally found the troll’s wife imprisoned in a cage and a hulk guard was also near her having key of the cage. Since the hulk was unaware, younger brother Naiee stole key from the hulk and opened the cage. Wife of the troll run away fearing the hulk and Naiee shout angrily why she left them behind.
The hulk got alerted and found the brothers. They tricked him and caged him in the same cage they released troll’s wife from. Troll’s wife came back to take them with her and they moved forward to escape the hulk’s place. At the end of the hulk’s underground place, troll was waiting for them but suddenly hulk appeared again. The brothers again tricked him and buried him in a deep well filled with fire. They safely left the place and troll couple thanked the brothers and guided them for tree of life.
Ill Father of Naiee and Naia saw in dream that their sons are in danger. Meanwhile brothers were surrounded by hungry wolves during their stay in a jungle at night. They managed to keep wolves away using fire while moving forward and reached a cemetery.
Naiee rang the bell to call cemetery caretaker who opened the door for them. Soon after leaving cemetery, they again got attacked by wolves and they had to jump in the water. They came out of the water and while passing ghost trees Naiee slipped to the river again and Naia jumped behind him. Naia saved his younger brother who lost consciousness and was seeing a nightmare about his family when Naia was awaking him.
The next day starts and they resumed their journey with the help of map and found an inventor’s house at the top of mountain. They used mountain goats to ride to the top of the mountain quickly. The inventor was stuck as his escalator wasn’t working due to missing part. The brothers helped him by fixing the machine and inventor let them fly his air glider so that they can reach to the other part of the mountains to continue their journey.
They started gliding on the plane while enjoying the journey but glider got damaged before reaching the destination. Luckily, they hardly reached the castle they targeted and continued to move further. They found that the bridge leading their way was destroyed. Meanwhile, they heard a sound of an animal. They went after the sound and found an injured giant owl closed in a cage. They released him and the bird got them fly over the destroyed bridge.
Naiee and Naia continued their journey on the mountains and reached a place where they found dead bodies of giant fighters. It looked like a war just finished. While going down the hills, they found that a girl being sacrificed by tribesmen. Brothers covered themselves in blood and disguised into their idol. They moved slowly towards the girl and released her. The tribesmen got that they’ve been tricked and followed them. The girl helped them escape from the place and they continued their journey on the boat.
They reached a castle in a snowy area and saw frozen soldiers. They got into the castle but found an invisible danger. It was an invisible giant. They moved further by hiding behind obstacles but finally got caught. While running from the invisible giant, they crossed an old bridge which broke up when giant passed through it and the giant fell off.
The stranger girl begins seducing Naia while Naiee wasn’t trusting the girl. But Naia trusted her and got tricked to enter a cave, much to Naiee's dismay. Once inside, the girl reveals herself as a monstrous spider and while trying to eat Naia, the brothers manage to finish her by pulling off her legs. But unfortunately, Naia was already injured.
Nearing the end of their journey, the brothers reach the Tree of Life; Naia insists that Naiee venture on to reach the top of the tree. He collects the Water of Life, but as he returns to the bottom, he finds that Naia has already died from his injury. Unable to revive him using the water, Naiee buries and grieves for his older brother before returning to the village.
Upon reaching the shoreline, Naiee must face his inability to swim in order to get the waters to his dying father. His mother's spirit appears to comfort and motivate him, and with Naia's spiritual guidance, Naiee is able to force himself to swim to the village.
He is able to give the doctor the water, and the father recovers from his illness overnight. A short time afterwards, Naiee and his father mourn at the tombstones of both the mother and Naia.
