Leorbit (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built the SyncSafe app as a file backup utility for Android.
This Privacy Policy explains how SyncSafe handles user information and permissions.
By using SyncSafe, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
SyncSafe allows users to back up selected files and folders directly to their own Google Drive accounts. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data or files on our servers.
The app only accesses:
Files and folders explicitly selected by the user.
File metadata such as name, size, type, and last modified date, used only for synchronization and backup management.
No file contents are read, analyzed, or transmitted anywhere outside the user’s device and Google Drive.
SyncSafe uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) for secure authentication.
Access tokens are stored locally on your device only and are used solely to communicate with Google Drive APIs. We do not share, upload, or store these tokens remotely.
You can revoke access to SyncSafe anytime from your Google Account permissions page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
All backups are stored in the user’s own Google Drive under their Google account.
SyncSafe does not maintain any external database or cloud server.
No user files or metadata are uploaded to Leorbit or any third-party servers.
The app may request the following permissions:
Selected (Scoped) File/Directory Access (No full storage permission): To read files selected by the user for backup.
Network Access: To connect with Google Drive APIs.
These permissions are used strictly for their described purposes.
SyncSafe does not use:
Google Analytics
Firebase Analytics
Crashlytics
Any advertising or tracking SDKs
We do not serve ads or collect analytics data.
SyncSafe is free to use with optional in-app purchases that unlock enhanced features.
All purchases are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment information.
We take privacy and security seriously. All communication between your device and Google Drive occurs over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your files remain fully under your Google account’s security and privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.” We encourage you to review it periodically.
